Large retaining wall built on a sloped backyard with a concrete pad on top — giving the homeowners a level outdoor living space complete with a fireplace area.
This backyard had a steep slope that made the entire rear of the property unusable for outdoor living. We built a large block retaining wall to cut into the hillside and hold the grade, then poured a concrete pad on top to create a flat entertaining area. The homeowners now have a dedicated fireplace spot with a view of the deck and the yard below — all on ground that was completely unusable before.
